Frank Gentry

Mr. Frank Gentry, 78, of Jamestown, passed away March 8, 2014, at Homewood Health Campus.
Frank was b o r n Ma y 31, 1935, in Indianapolis, a son of the now late John R. and Virginia (Brown) Gentry. He married Joy (Medford) Gentry on May 16, 1955. She survives.
Frank was retired from Indiana Bell after 37 years of service. While working at Indiana Bell he also farmed and continued farming after his retirement.
Survivors include his wife and children: Wendell Gentry of Greenfield, Leanna (Kevin) Miller of Lebanon, and Melinda (Jeff) Smith of Martinsville. Grandchildren: Melissa (Ryan) Wood, Travis (Amanda) Miller and Brandon (Jessica) Miller all of Lebanon, Mitch Gentry of Belleville and Brayton Smith, Bailee Smith and Braxton Smith all of Martinsville.\ Great-grandchildren: Garrett Miller, Grace Miller, Gage Miller, Blake Miller, Emma Miller, Landen Miller, Tate Wood and Ross Wood. He is also survived by siblings, John E. (Toni) Gentry of Evansville, Tom (Anita) Gentry of Georgia and Hazel Williams of Danville. 
Family and friends will gather today, March 11, for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services at 12 p.m. with Pastor Larry Lilly officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury
Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Frank will be laid to rest at Old Union Cemetery in Jamestown.
