Dwayne M. "Marty" Harper

Mr. Dwayne M. “Marty” Harper, 52, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at his residence. Marty was born Sept. 18, 1961, in Franklin, a son of Willie B. Harper and Charlotte (Hull) Muse. He lived in many different cities growing up, as his father was in the military. He graduated from Bell High School in Bell, Fla. He was a devoted son, brother and father to his family. Marty enjoyed woodworking and making crafts. Survivors include his father, Willie B. (Betty) Harper of Thorntown; mother, Charlotte Muse of Trenton, Fla.; daughter, Michelle Harper of Glasgow, Ky.; two brothers, Willie B. (Rose) Harper II of Westmoreland, Tenn., and Virgil Kaufman of Indianapolis; three sisters, Mary M. (Gene) Walkup of Lebanon, Carrie (Willie) Willis of Branford, Fla., and Penny Stephen of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. Marty was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Kaufman, and a sister, Beth Ann Witham. Memorial Services will be held at a later date at Cold Springs Cemetery in Lafayette, Tenn. Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, Ind., is entrusted with his arrangements for cremation. Online condolences may be made at www.myersmortuary.com.
