---- — Mr. Jerry Bowlin, 59, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. He was born on Nov. 15, 1953, in Indianapolis, the son of the now late Louis Warren and Bernice (Eversole) Bowlin. Jerry was a graduate of Warren Central High School in Indianapolis and he attended Lincoln Christian College in Lincoln, Ill. He married Teresa Ann (Bloomfield) Bowlin on Sept. 29, 2006, in Jamestown; Mrs. Bowlin survives. Jerry moved to Lebanon in 2006. For many years, he worked in customer service at various retail stores. Jerry was an ordained minister and served numerous youth programs. Jerry dedicated his life to genuinely caring for people and bringing a little joy and laughter into everyone’s life that he touched. He enjoyed preaching and teaching the Word, cartooning, drawing, writing and reading. He was a member of the New Brunswick Church of Christ and the Boone County Historical Society. Survivors include wife Teresa Bowlin of Lebanon; three step-children, Daniel C. Bilyeu of Lebanon, Christina M. Hale and husband Steven, Jr., of Lebanon, and Amanda G. Bilyeu of Lebanon; two sisters, Patti Klinglesmith and husband Terry of Indianapolis, and Terry Coffey; and two grandchildren, Landon Hale and Lukas Hale. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at New Brunswick Church of Christ, 6480 South State Road 39, in Lebanon. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at the church, with Jim Coyle officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Myers Mortuary, in Lebanon, is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
