Mrs. Josephine A. "Jo" Solomon, 86, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully Oct. 8, 2013, at her home, with her family by her side. She was a member of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority, life member of Kent Chapter 117 Order of the Easter Star, Lady Elks and was a volunteer at Witham Hospital in Lebanon. She was expecting great-grandson number 12. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rose Brown; and brother, James White. Family and friends will gather Monday, Oct. 14, for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services at 12 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon, with Hope Wade officiating. Mrs. Solomon will be laid to rest at Browns Wonder Cemetery in Lebanon.
