Bailey A. Speer

Miss Bailey A. Speer, 23, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, in rural Lebanon. Bailey was born Dec. 29, 1989, in Indianapolis, a daughter of Thomas G. Speer and Becky J. (Bailey) Tunnell. She was a lifelong resident of Boone County, with the exception of one year in Oklahoma when she spent her time helping handicapped children. She attended Western Boone High School. She was a loving mother to her beautiful son, Benson. She had a gift for helping people, and worked as a caregiver for several area families. Bailey enjoyed music and spending time with her many friends. Survivors include her father, Thomas G. Speer of Lebanon; mother, Becky J. Tunnell of Lebanon; one son, Benson Joeseph Miller of Lebanon; Benson’s father, Drew Miller of Advance; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Bailey was preceded in death by her grandparents, Benjamin Otto “Ben” Bailey, Corabelle C. Bailey, George T. Speer and Elsie Mae Speer. Visitation is 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Myers Chapel of Memories. Memorial contributions may be made to the education fund of her son, Benson J. Miller. Online condolences may be made at www.myersmortuary.com.
