---- — Mr. Orville Calvin Bergh, 84, of Lebanon, passed away April 4, 2014, at his residence.

Orville was born March 7, 1930, in Winsor, Conn., a son of the late Frank Harry and Emma (Hammel) Bergh. He was married to Else (Hauser) Bergh for 60 years. She survives.

Orville was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Army where he retired as a master sergeant. He served in Korea where he received the Army Commendation Medal.

Orville and Else loved to travel and went to every state but Alaska and Hawaii. He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading.

Survivors include his wife, Else and two daughters, Dorothy (Garry) Biddinger of Escondido, Calif., and Beverly Cunningham of Lebanon; grandchildren, Devin (Kevin) Kistler of Lebanon, Mallory Cunningham of Lafayette and Chase Cunningham of Lebanon; and great-granddaughter, Kora Kistler. He was preceded in death by four siblings.

Family and friends will gather Sunday, April 6, for visitation from noon until the time of services at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon with Pastor Jim Ramsey officiating.
