Dennis "Butch" Lueckert, a devoted husband and family man, lost his 10-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
He graduated from Lawrence Central High in 1967. He served a typesetting apprenticeship and worked for Weimer Typesetting for over 40 years. He retired from Masco Printing in 2011. He was an active member of Wolf Creek Muzzleloaders for 22 years, having served as an officer for many of those years. He was also a member of H.O.G. He was an avid all-around outdoorsman and excelled in everything he tried.
He is survived by his wife, Delores "Dee" Jeffers; his daughter and son-in-law, Nichole and Jeff Gant; and his granddaughter, Mallory; his mother, Reva Walker Corman; sisters, Sharon Diggle, Barbara Riley and Pamela Williams; and brother, Robert Trusty.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Albert Lueckert; and stepfather, Jim Corman.
It was Dennis' wish to have no funeral services, but rather a Celebration Of Life/Wake. It will be held Saturday, April 12, at the Eagle's Lodge in Lebanon. Friends and family may join us in celebration, beginning at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served and stories told of his life. You are invited to share your stories of Dennis.
Arrangements are entrusted to Indiana Memorial.
