Larry D. Deckard

— Jamestown

1948-2013

Larry Donald Deckard, 64, of Jamestown, passed away March 23, 2013, at the Parkwood Health Care facility in Lebanon.

Larry was born Dec. 30, 1948, in Monroe County, to Donald F. Deckard and Velma (Eads) Robertson. He was a graduate of Brownsburg High School.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was retired from HVAC; he had been self-employed.

Larry is survived by his wife, Vicky Deckard; daughters, Tonya Beard of Brownsburg, Holly Cliff of Indianapolis and Kimberly Thomas of Brownsburg; and grandchildren, Olivia Beard, Eric Beard, Elyse Beard and Trevor Deckard.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday March 27, at the Porter Funeral Home, 315 W. Main St., Jamestown, with a service at 7 p.m. A visitation will also be held from 11 to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old State Road 37, Bloomington, with a service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at the Mount Ebal Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 6030 W. 62nd St., Indianapolis, IN 46278.

Allen Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
