Dorothy Jean Mooday

Dorothy Jean Mooday, 66 of Worton, Md., died July 25, 2013, at home.

Dorothy was born on Aug. 23, 1946, daughter of the now late Raymond and Dorothea Thompson Kelley. She was raised in Rock Hall and was a 1964 graduate of Rock Hall High School. At the age of 21 she married Larry Joe Mooday and moved to Indiana and returned to Kent County in 1983. She had worked at Dixon Valve and for area restaurants but most enjoyed working as a private duty nurse. She enjoyed reading and playing cards.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Debbie Hammer.

She is survived by her four daughters, Donna Thompson and her husband David of Kennedyville, Jeanette Mooday Walsh of Worton, Cassandra Price and her husband Kevin of Worton and Toinette Mooday of Indiana; her sister, Nancy Walls and brother David Kelley, Sr. and his wife Ellen all of Chestertown; a brother-in-law David Hammer of Centreville; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held privately.

Memorials may be made to Wesley Chapel Church, P.O. 66, Rock Hall, MD  21661
