Jason C. Bevington

Mr. Jason Carl Bevington, 32, of Thorntown, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

Jason was born Feb. 9, 1981, in Lebanon, the son of Garry and Rita Ann (Campbell) Bevington. A lifelong resident of Boone County, he graduated from Western Boone High School in 2000.

He was a devoted son, brother and friend to all. He loved to ride in the semi with his Dad, and he enjoyed listening to country music and visiting Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

Jason attended Pleasant View Church in Boone County.

Survivors include his parents, Garry and Rita Bevington of Thorntown; paternal grandmother, Lorraine Bevington of Lebanon; sister, Bobbi Jo (Rob) Amour of Thorntown; uncles, Mike (Debbie) Campbell of Lebanon, Bob Campbell and Kevin Campbell, both of Thorntown, Don (Alicia) Bevington of Sheridan, and Robert (Donna) Bevington and John (Marilea) Bevington, all of Lebanon; aunt, Tammy (Eric) Cannaday of Kirklin; and several cousins.

Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lemuel and Mary Campbell; and his paternal grandfather, Devon L. Bevington.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Myers Chapel of Memories, with Pastor Daniel Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery in Boone County.
