Lebanon Reporter

---- — Mrs. Florence “Flo” Martindale, 92, of Bloomington, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at her son’s home in Lebanon.

Mrs. Martindale retired from R.C.A., and later worked at McDonald’s in Spencer.

She was an inspiration to her family, and especially her great-grandchildren, because of her Bible knowledge.

She is survived by her loving family: her daughter and son-in-law, Diana Sue and Stan Ratts of Mattoon, Ill., her son and daughter-in-law, Denny Anson Martindale and Jama Martindale of Thorntown; her sister, Dorothy Moskos of Bloomington; six grandchildren, Denny Martindale Jr. and April Dawn Williams, both of Washington, Ind., Robert A. Helms of Austin, Texas, Kenneth W. Helms of Atlanta, Ga., and Kelly L. Helms and Deanna L. MacDonald, both of Mattoon; and 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arlie A. Hall; her second husband, Cleon Martindale; and six siblings.
