Ralph “Dean” Titus, 73, Flora, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at his home.
He was born Jan. 5, 1939, in Cass County. He was the son of Charles and Julia (Martin) Titus.
He married Sharon Lee Stephenson on April 13, 1957; she survives.
Dean was a service manager for Mann Chevrolet in Flora, and later worked for Delphi Limestone. He had lived in Flora since 1958.
He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Flora Masonic Lodge, and Only the Best Club with Chevrolet. He enjoyed farming, especially raising cattle and his two donkeys, and was very active in Boy Scouts with his sons.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Lee Stephenson; sons, Michael (Penny) Titus and Scott Dean Titus; brother Keith (Nancy) Titus; sisters, Carol Lawrence and Jeananne (Randy) Forgey; three grandchildren, Lindsey (Matt) Kilty, Misty Titus and Annie Titus; and great-grandchild, Titus Kilty. Also surviving are cousins Charles Arthur Martin and Mary Ann Berkshire, and several nieces and nephews.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents.
Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 23, at Genda Funeral Home-Reinke Chapel, Flora. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at the funeral home, with Pastor Larry DeVos officiating. Burial will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.
