Peggy Strawmyer, 80, of Lebanon, was called to G l o r y on Thur s d a y, July 18, 2013, passing peacefully at her home.

She was born July 19, 1932, in Indianapolis, a daughter of Adolph and Lovie (Crawford) Weibel. Peggy married C. Eugene (Gene) Strawmyer October 10, 2003; he survives. Prior to her marriage to Gene, she was married to Leroy Warmoth for 39 years before he passed away in 1993. She was a graduate of Sugar Creek High School in Hamilton County. For a period, Peggy worked as a secretary part-time at Strawmyer Appliance. She was an active and long-time member of Lebanon Bible Baptist Church, though she most recently attended Lighthouse Baptist Church. Peggy was an avid reader, who enjoyed spending the winter months in Port Charlotte, Fla. Peggy also enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family.

Survivors include children Bryan Warmoth of Lebanon, Mrs. Jimmie (Sherri) Richardson of Lawrenceburg, and stepdaughter, Mrs. Sonny (Marcia) Wood of Kankakee, Ill. Additional survivors include her sisters, Sally Altman of Baltimore, Md., Suzanne Weibel of Kirklin and Jenny Runion of Sheridan; five grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death include her parents, Adolph and Lovie Weibel, and her brother, Clyde Dye.

Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Myers, Pastor Merv McNair officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
