Genevieve T. Lowe

Mrs. Genevieve T. Lowe, 81, of Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. Genevieve was born March 25, 1932, in Harrisburg, Pa. She was a daughter of the now late Paul and Grace (Stewart) Huey. She was raised and educated in Indiana County, Pa. She then attended Sisters of Charity in Buffalo, N.Y., where she received her surgical technician training. On Dec. 29, 1960, she was married to David M. Lowe in Indianapolis. Mr. Lowe passed away in 2004. Genevieve worked as a surgical technician at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for 28 years. A person devoted to her family, she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and traveling. Survivors include daughter, Jennifer L. (Mike) Wilson of Boone County; sister, Lois (Sam) Fultz of Brownsburg; two grandsons, Chad Wilson of Lebanon and Jonathan Wilson of Mechanicsburg; and great-grandson, Kaiden Wilson. Visitation is 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Myers Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. Scott Shelton officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
