Phyllis J. Babb

Mrs. Phyllis J. Babb, 83, of Lebanon, formerly from Anderson, passed away Oct. 10, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Phyllis was born Dec. 19, 1929 in Anderson, a daughter of the now late James Wallace and Helen (Beeman) Stock. She was married to Richard Babb; he preceded her in death. Phyllis worked for General Motors in Anderson for 35 years, retiring in 1991. She loved and cared for her family as a homemaker after retirement. Survivors include her son, David (Debbie) Orr of Lebanon; grandson, Ryan (Brenda) Orr of Indianapolis and great grandchildren, Bryan and Kayla Orr and Sierra VanSickle. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jerry Orr and siblings James Wallace and Margaret Orr. Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N.
