---- — Mrs. Gladys Irene Linn, 86, of Jamestown, died Monday Nov. 11, 2013, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. The daughter of the now late Roy C. and Minnie E. (Baugh) Marsh, she was born July 29, 1927, in Clermont. Mrs. Linn attended Dover High School and was a member of New Ross Christian Church. She worked as a secretary with Schooler Grain, Inc., for seven years, and held various positions over the years. Other memberships include the New Ross American Legion Auxiliary, Gideons International and the Travel Club of Crawfordsville. She loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, and spoiled them rotten with her wonderful cooking. They will always remember G.G. making snickerdoodles. She is survived by her children, Leon A. (Lisa) Ford of Pleasant View, E. Dianne Henry of Westfield and Donna E. (Greg) Pitner of Bloomington; six grandchildren, Daron (Nami Lee) Henry, Caron (Todd) Ash, Tara (Jim) Linville, Mark (Pam) Ford, Ryan (Kelly) Pitner and Erik (Liz) Pitner; 12 great-grandchildren; four stepchildren, Jeff (Ginnie) Linn, Richard (Mary) Linn, Janis (Larry) Miethe and Cheryl (Kenny) McMullen; and 11 step-grandchildren and 29 stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Denney; second husband Verlin R. Ford; third husband, Raymond G. Linn; brothers, James March and Charles Marsh; and her infant daughter, Darlene. Family and friends will gather from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in the Porter Funeral Home, 315 W. M. St., Jamestown. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15 in the funeral home, with the Rev. Harlan Kincade officiating. Mrs. Linn will be laid to rest in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
