Lebanon — Eldon Rex Larew, 71, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011.
He was born July 30, 1939, in New Market, to the now deceased Charles Larew and Bonnie (Busenbark) Larew.
Eldon retired from STALCOP in Thorntown, and enjoyed hobbies of camping and woodworking.
He was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Raybourn Hollifield Larew; sons, Scott Larew and Brannon Strahm; daughters, Lynnette (Bobby) Cox, Kristi (Carl) Schuh, Lisa Larew and Courtney (Alex) Baldwin; stepson, Bill Hollifield Jr.; stepdaughters, Deborah (Ed) Bell, Connie (Bob) Smerdel; grandchildren, Michael and Garrett Larew, Nicole Spann, Kristi Priddy, Carrie Manion, Tara and Alyssa Harrison, Ivy, Aiden and Loki Strahm, Kailey and Eli Baldwin, Nellie Bell, Wesley, Hanna, Sierra, and Zoe Hollifield, Greg, Jacob and Jennifer Smerdel; brothers, Dr. Robert Larew and Ron Larew; sister, Linda (Ralph John) Hood; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at Connection Pointe Christian Church, 1800 N. Green St., Brownsburg. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 29, at the church. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
