Sharon L. Titus

Sharon Lee Titus, 75, of Flora, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014, at her home.

She was born Feb. 22, 1939, in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Olis Lee and Juanita Butler Stephenson. On April 13, 1957, she married Ralph Dean Titus; he preceded her in death Aug. 21, 2012.

Sharon had lived in Flora since 1959. She worked as a bookkeeper for Greentree Feeds/Camden Elevator and retired from the former Jackson-Lee-Pearson, Inc., presently Tri-Green Tractor, in Flora. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and a former member of The Order of the Eastern Star of Flora. Sharon enjoyed crocheting and square dancing. She was also an animal lover.

Survivors include two sons, Mike (Penny) Titus and Scott (Monica) Titus; one sister, Jeananne (Randall) Forgey; three grandchildren, Lindsey (Nate) Kilty, Misty Titus and Annie Titus; one stepgranddaughter, Mackenzie Sandusky; one great-grandchild, Titus Kilty; and one nephew, Darrell (Kari) Clase.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at Genda Funeral Home - Reinke Chapel, 103 N. Center St., Flora. Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, at the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Ramey officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.

Memorial contributions in Sharon’s name may be made to IU Hospice of Lafayette.
