Patty L. Iacobelli

Patty Lois Iacobelli, 84, of Lebanon, died Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon.

Mrs. Iacobelli was born in Lebanon on June 15, 1930, a daughter of the now late Foster Diz Owens and Wynonna (Walton) Owens Stockeys.

A lifelong resident of Boone County, Patty was a 1948 graduate of Lebanon High School.

On July 27, 1969, she was married to Joseph William Iacobelli in Lebanon. Mr. Iacobelli passed away on April 26, 2006.

Patty had worked as a telephone operator for a period of time and later a bank teller for National City Bank and Citizens Bank, both in Lebanon.

She was dedicated to her family. In addition, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, and reading. She was a member of Central Christian Church, Lebanon.

Survivors include three children: Mrs. Stephanie J. (Eric) Hysong, Mark D. (Deborah) Lister, and Ms. Suzy Large, all of Lebanon; five grandchildren: Adam M. Hysong, Thomas O. (Sheri) Lister, Melissa S. (Jesse) Wilhoite, Megan E. Large, all of Lebanon, and Ryan D. Lister and companion, Anthony, of Indianapolis; five great-grandchildren: Karissa Lister, Sydnee Hysong, Essa Lister, Miley Wilhoite and Braylon Wilhoite; great-great-grandchild Maddox Alexander; brother James Owens of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Patty was preceded in death by two brothers, Alan Owens and Francis “K” Owens, and a sister, Karen Susie Weber.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, at Central Christian Church, 311 E. Main St., Lebanon. Services will immediately follow at 11 a.m., the Rev. Brad Miller officiating.

Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., in Lebanon, is handling arrangements for cremation.
