Mrs. Dallis L. Bilskie, 79, of Indianapolis, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Mrs. Bilskie was born Aug. 27, 1933, in Indianapolis. She was the daughter of the now late Virgil “Barney” and Ada M. (Roach) Good. Having been raised in the Indianapolis area, Mrs. Bilskie graduated from Broad Ripple High School.

She married James L. “Jim” Bilskie on Dec. 31, 1967, in Indianapolis. Mr. Bilskie survives.

For more than 40 years, she and her husband owned and operated Bilskie Market, a family produce stand. Prior to that, she worked as a secretary for many years.

Mrs. Bilskie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed the time spent with her family. During her earlier years, she loved to ice skate. She was a skilled seamstress; she enjoyed sewing so much that her daughters never lacked clothes for their Barbie dolls. In addition, she enjoyed playing bingo and euchre.

Survivors include seven children, Elizabeth (Michael) Miller of  Indianapolis, Timothy Bilskie of Alabama, Patricia (companion, John Woods) Beller of Carmel, Angie (Jim) Henning of Panama City, Fla., Lesa (companion, Dawn Dufresne) Bilskie of Marshall, Randy (companion, Pam Shahan) Bilskie of Westfield and Janie Bilskie of Indianapolis; brother,  Gaylord Good of Oaklandon; sister, Barbara Houlub of Winthrop Harbor, Ill.; sister-in-law, Urusla Good of Noblesville; and several grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bilskie was preceded in death by a brother, Dick Good, and a son, Jim Bilskie.

Visitation is 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 10, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Myers Chapel of Memories, with Gaylord Good officiating. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County.
