Carl Randall “Randy” Lowery

— Carl Randall “Randy” Lowery of Hummelstown, Penn., passed away May 13, 2013.   

Randy was born March 12,1951 in Lebanon. He was the son of Carl “Dutch” and Rosemary Lowery. He grew up in Lebanon and was a graduate of the Lebanon High School Class of 1969. Randy was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as a Crew Chief on board a C-130 in the United States Air Force. Randy enjoyed riding his Harley, building models, rebuilding his 1923 Ford Bucket T, and spending time with friends and family.  

Randy proudly served as an active Legionnaire at American Legion Post 265 of Hummelstown, and as a member of the American Legion Riders of American Legion Post 730 Penbrook, Harrisburg, Penn. He was employed with Cummins Power Supply, Harrisburg.   

Randy is survived by his stepchildren, Dennis (Tonya) Gilmore of Mechanicsburg, Penn., Denise Miller (fiancé Brian Cochran) and Doniel (Peter) Kolm of Lebanon, and five step-grandchildren, Anthony Gilmore, Cayla, Demi, and Daniel Stevenson, and Tristan Kolm.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-grandchild, D.  Thomas Stevenson.

Military services will be held at 2 p.m. at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Penn.  

Memorial donations may be made to any veteran’s organization in Carl R. Lowery’s memory.
