Mr. Larry R. Perdue, 68, of Lebanon, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Essex Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lebanon.
Larry was born on April 13, 1945, in Indianapolis, a son of Hildreth Ray Perdue and the late Mary Elizabeth (Sampson) Perdue.
He lived in Indianapolis until the Perdue family moved to Boone County in 1964. They moved to Lebanon in 1973.
He was married to Bonnie Clements, they later divorced.
Larry had worked at Boone ARC in Lebanon for several years, rebuilding chairs, and he had a small business mowing grass.
He was a devoted son, brother and friend to all. He enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery and watching wrestling and cowboy and horror movies.
Survivors include his father, Hildreth R. Perdue of Lebanon; four siblings, Gary Perdue of New Port Richey, Fla., LaVonne Kathleen “Bonnie” Chenoweth of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., Sharon Rose (Jack) Pedigo of Jamestown, and Deborah Ann (Mark) Lister of Lebanon; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m. today, July 23, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Myers Chapel of Memories. A private family interment will take place Wednesday at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County.
