Susan R. Williams

Susan R. Williams, 67, of Westfield, went to be with God on Friday, April 18, 2014. She was born Nov. 25, 1946, to Herman and Martha (Daniels) Rose in Monticello, Ky.

Susan was a dedicated wife, mother and daughter. She was a member of new Life Church in Noblesville. Susan’s life was dedicated to her family and her work. She was employed prior to her illness at Rent-A-Center, and Shastar Rentals, the first million-dollar store.

She was married to Donald F. Williams Jr. on Sept. 10, 1980. Both had been previously married. She and Don were very proud to have raised six children.

Survivors include her husband, Donald of Westfield; mother, Martha Rose of Indianapolis; son, David (Debbi) Culp of Noblesville; daughter, Deidre (Billy) Hinton of Indianapolis; daughter, Amy (Thomas) Preer of Noblesville; son, Mike (Darlene) Williams of Lebanon; daughter, Angela Williams of Sheridan; son, Todd (Barbara) Williams of Hickory, N.C.; brother, Jim Rose of Alexandria; sister, Kathleen Rose of Indianapolis; and 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Cremation was requested by Susan. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
