Rodger L. Wilson

Mr. Rodger L. Wilson, 57, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Hickory Creek at Lebanon.

Rodger was born in Streator, Ill., on June 28, 1956, a son of Elmer and Hilda (Crew) Wilson. He was raised and educated in Illinois, and moved to Lebanon in the early 1980s.

He married Linda Wilson in Lebanon; she preceded him in death.

Rodger worked many years for Jerry Birge Construction and several years at Oak Hill Cemetery.

In addition to spending time with his family, Rodger enjoyed fishing, tinkering around in his garage, grilling out and riding his mo-ped. He was a member of the Eagles Club # 2062 in Lebanon.

Survivors include two sisters, Linda Simmons and Nancy Born, both of Illinois; two brothers, Larry Wilson and Stanley Wilson, both of Illinois; brother-in-law, Jerry D. Birge of Lebanon; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many nieces and nephews.

Rodger was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Judith A. Birge; an aunt, Margaret Crew; and uncles, Robert Crew and Richard Crew.

No funeral services are planned. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon.
