Martha J. Mohr

Martha Jean Mohr, 77, passed away peacefully April 29, 2014, at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon.

Martha was born Oct. 21, 1936, to Robert C. Mohr and Opal (Umsted) Mohr.

Martha graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1954. After graduation from high school she moved to Lebanon. Martha worked for Electrowire and Unilectric in Frankfort, retiring after 25 years of service. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Lebanon. Martha played a prominent role in the creation of the Shalom House Saturday lunch program. She was also an officer in the Golden K Club.

Martha is survived by a sister, Mary Anne Mohr of Lebanon, and a brother, Robert C. (Jean) Mohr II of Frankfort. In addition, she is survived by a nephew, Robert C. (Jasmine) Mohr III of Fredericksburg, Va., and a niece Meaghan Mohr (Brett Dyess) of Lawrenceville, Ga. She is also survived by two great-nephews and a great-niece.

Family and friends will gather Friday, May 2, for visitation from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon.
