Mr. Andrew Casey “Andy” Baldwin, 33, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, Fla.
Andy was born April 25, 1981, in Indianapolis, a son of Anna Jean Spivey and Richard C. Baldwin. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School.
Following school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp.
He served his country honorably for four years. After serving in the military, he attended MMI in Phoenix, Ariz., and began going by the name of Drew.
On April 22, 2012, he was married to Wendy Howell in Las Vegas; she survives. On Sept. 26, 2012, they welcomed Zoey Jean Baldwin, his pride and joy.
While in Lebanon, Andy worked at Big O Tire. After moving to Florida, he worked as a mechanic at Future Aviation in Fort Myers.
He was a member of the Whitestown Masonic Lodge and the Lebanon and Phoenix American Legions.
He enjoyed working on motorcycles, quads, and tinkering around on cars. Most of all, he loved being with his family.
Survivors include his father, Richard (Pamela) Baldwin of Lebanon; his mother, Anna Wright of Indianapolis; his wife, Wendy Baldwin of Cape Coral; daughter, Zoey Baldwin of Cape Coral; two brothers, Travis Sample and Bradley Baldwin, both of Lebanon; sister, Amity Baldwin of Indianapolis; maternal grandmother, Lorna Spivey of Evansville; mother- and father–in–law, Elaine and John Howell of Racine, Wis.; and brother-in-law, Jared Howell of Chicago, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Lillian Baldwin; and his maternal grandfather, Calvin Spivey.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Myers Chapel of Memories. Interment with military rites will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for an education fund that will be set up for his daughter, Zoey Baldwin.
