Randall D. 'Randy' Allen

Mr. Randall Duane “Randy” Allen, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away June 4, 2014, at IU West Hospital.

Randy was born Jan. 2, 1949, in Lebanon, a son of the now late Lynn and Helen (Glendenning) Allen.

Randy worked for Bryant Carrier, United Technologies for 47 years, retiring in December 2013. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, baseball and watching NASCAR racing.

Survivors include his children: Mindy (Joseph) Sparks of Anderson and Stacy Lynn Allen of Muncie; grandchildren: Dakota Warren Sparks and Garrett Randall Sparks; siblings: Norma Kimmey of Middleville, Mich., Virginia (Bill) Wilson of Lebanon, Harold (Sharon) Allen of Mooresville; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings Jack Allen and Margaret Newby.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, June 7, for visitation from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon.

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Boone County Cancer Society, 117 W. Elm St., Lebanon, IN 46052.
