Percia Lee Bush



Percia Lee Bush of Lebanon died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, in her home with family at her side. She was 75.

Mrs. Bush was born March 26, 1937, to the now late John and Roberta Harmon in Indianapolis. She married Forest Ross Bush on Oct. 1, 1955, in Indianapolis. He survives.

She graduated from Manual High School in Indianapolis in 1955 and was a licensed practical nurse working in Lebanon and Zionsville nursing homes for more than 30 years.

She was a member of the Licensed Practical Nursing Association and of Milledgeville United Methodist Church, where she was the organist for nearly 40 years. She was passionate about her life’s mission of helping the elderly, her family and her faith.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, Mrs. Bush is survived by sons John (Diane), Jerry (Tammy) and Jimmy (Rebecca) Bush, all of Lebanon, and Dennis (Bernetta) Puthoff of Janesville, Wis.; daughter Robin of Lebanon; nine grandchildren, Erica Bush of Lake City, Fla., Jared, Molly and Riley Bush of Lebanon, Caleb and Kelsie Spidel of Lebanon, Jenny (Todd) Needham of Janesville, Wis., Lisa (Randy) Bruder of Thorntown, and Tessa (Jason) Potts of Whitestown; seven great-grandchildren, Sydney Shay of Lake City, Fla.; Tyler, Ryan and Kyle Needham of Janesville, Wis., Kara and Nathan Funk of Thorntown and Andrew Potts of Whitestown.

She was preceded in death by brother John T. Harmon.

Family and friends will gather from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, Lebanon. The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Milledgeville United Methodist Church, five miles south of Lebanon off Indianaº 39.
