---- — Mr. Rickie Lee “Rick” Woodard, 51, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at his residence. Rick was born in Lebanon Feb. 15, 1962. He was the son of the now late Charles “Charlie” Woodard and Wilma J. (Barton) Bowen. A lifelong resident of Boone County, he was a 1982 graduate of Lebanon High School. Following school, Rick joined the Indiana National Guard. He married Tracy (Mink) Woodard in October 1988, and they later divorced. Rick worked at various places throughout Boone County including Wreck’s, Blue & White Truck Stop, T&A Truck Stop, and most recently at Lebanon High School as a custodian. A devoted father and grandfather, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoyed walking, watching television (especially races), playing video games, and tinkering around with his car and fixing it with duct tape. Always smiling and happy, Rick loved to joke around with family and friends and make them laugh. Survivors include stepmother, Linda K. Woodard of Thorntown; three children, Amanda Woodard of Thorntown, Virginia (Truby) Isaac of Fairmount and Michael (Marisela) Woodard of Fort Sill, Okla.; sister, Michele (Kenny) Summers of Lebanon; four brothers, Steve (Martha) Woodard of Lebanon, Jeff (LinNa Cheng) Woodard of Thorntown, Randy (companion Rosie McBay) Woodard of Pittsboro and Byron (Christine) Barton of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Brookalynne Isaac and Phillip Isaac, both of Fairmount; and a number of nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert Charles Woodard and Ronald Dee Woodard. Visitation is 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Myers Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Lebanon.
