John Goss

John Goss, 80, Lebanon, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Parkwood Health Center in Lebanon.

He was born June 18, 1932, in Harriman, Tenn., to Clyde and Mary Goss. He married Dorothy Goss in Anderson on Sept. 8, 1958, and she died June 5, 1994.

He attended the Baptist church and worked for Wrecks Inc., retiring after 58 years of service there.

His hobbies included watching John Wayne movies and playing cards.

Survivors include a daughter, Annetto (Charles) McGee; a sister, Betty, and three brothers, Franklin, Thomas and Earl.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary, Hazel, Martha and Minnie, and two brothers, Clyde Jr., and Bert.

There will be no calling.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Lincoln Memory Gardens, with The Rev. Matthew Skiles officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made at Boone County Senior Services, Inc., 515 Crown Point Dr., Lebanon, IN 46052.

Russell & Hitch Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
