1945-2013

Donna K. Long, 67, of Indianapolis, died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Donna was born July 28, 1945, in Indianapolis, to the now late Maxwell Forest and Mabel (Easton) Lamb. She graduated from  Ben Davis High School in 1963.

Living most of her life in Indianapolis, she had worked as a secretary for the Internal Revenue Service since 1987.

Her hobbies included reading and crocheting, and she loved to be with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Kevin Eugene Long of Indianapolis; daughter, Alissa Leigh Duhamell of Indianapolis; brother, Michael Leon Lamb of Indianapolis; sister, Patricia Ann Vicory of Indianapolis; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 116 W. Plum, Thorntown. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Yvonne McCall officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
