Adonis Dee (Wilson) Solomon

Adonis Dee (Wilson) Solomon, 78, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012.

Dee was born on Aug. 29, 1934, in New Ross, to John “Ding” and Lois (Meade) Wilson.

She was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Dee was known for her knowledge and love of antiques and collectibles.

She is survived by her mother; three children, Lieta (Phil) LaRoche of Indianapolis, Kim Pratt of Indianapolis and Dawn (Tony) Gibbs of Brownsburg; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A daughter, Angela Joy Pratt; a brother, Richard M. Wilson; and son-in-law, Garrett Terhune; preceded her in death.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 27, at Porter Funeral Home, 315 W. Main St., Jamestown.

Services will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, at the funeral home, with Harlan Kincade officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jamestown.
