Patricia Ann Carr 1966-2013

Ms. Patricia Ann Carr, 46, of Lebanon, died Aug. 13, 2013, at Witham Memorial Hospital. Patricia was born Aug. 27, 1966, in Lebanon, a daughter of Robert and Marilyn Bailey. Both parents are deceased. She was married to Christopher E. Carr in 1988, they later divorced. Patricia graduated from Western Boone High School and PJs Beauty School. She owned her own salon in Mechanicsburg, “Trish Cuts." She also traveled to local nursing homes to help the residents with their hair. She loved to travel, listen to music and be with family and friends. Patricia supported her brother and nephews music endeavors. She was a member of the Lebanon Eagles and longtime member of Mechanicsburg Christian Church. Survivors include her children: Sarah (fiancé Cody Lenehan) Carr of Colfax, and Eric Carr (fiancee Kayla Rigdon); grandchildren: Adalyne Marie Carr, Adrianne Mae Carr and Lexi Ann Lenehan; siblings: Gary (Victoria) Bailey and Mark (Ellen) Bailey, both of Lebanon, Terry (Joe) Barret of Thorntown, and Jody (Kevin) Cozzens of Ohio; a cherished aunt, Evelyn Akers and several nieces and nephews; a sister, Pam Bailey, preceded her in death. Family and friends will gather Friday, Aug. 16, for visitation from 2 until time of service at 4 p.m. with a celebration of life reception immediately following the service at Mechanicsburg Christian Church, 650 W. Horton Road, Kirklin. Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
