Sherri Gayle Muse

Sherri Gayle Muse, 51, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at her residence.

She was born May 29, 1961, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Spencer T. and Barbara A. (Williams) Muse.

Her early life was spent in Indianapolis before moving to Lebanon. She was a graduate of Baptist Academy in Indianapolis.

For several years, Sherri worked in downtown Indianapolis as an assistant administrator at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

She was a dedicated daughter, sister, and mother to her four children. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and playing board games. Sherri had a giving heart and always tried to give back to different charities throughout her life.

She was a member of Household of Love & Faith Church in Lebanon.

Survivors include her parents, Spencer T. and Barbara A. Muse of Brownsburg; four children, Kami E. Muse-Myers, Jacy R. Muse-Myers, Robert N. Muse-Myers and Sara L. Muse-Myers, all of Lebanon; one sister, Deborah K. (Ed) Brown of Indianapolis; and one brother, Woodrow H. (Robin) Muse of Indianapolis.

Sherri was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman A. Muse and Spencer L. Muse.

Visitation is 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at Myers Chapel of Memories, with Pastor Mike Goforth officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National MS Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.
