Mr. Jeffery J. Richardson, 46, of Lebanon, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, of nautral causes at his residence.
He was born Aug. 13, 1966, in Lebanon, to Sonny and Nancy (Evans) Richardson. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1984. He attended some college classes.
Mr. Richardson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He worked at McDonald’s for several years.He then worked in many areas of construction, building wood frame and then metal buildings with Buildings to Go. His last job was with NFI Warehouse, driving a fork lift. He retired four months ago due to health problems.
Mr. Richardson loved reading science fiction and arguing any point with anyone. He also loved gardening. Last spring he built a tower that was supposed to grow 100 pounds of potatoes in a very small area. He had a good harvest, but was disappointed in the amount produced. He also loved playing a game on Facebook called Mafia Wars.
Survivors include his parents; sister, Mary (Randy) Smith of Lebanon; two nieces, Miranda and Joelle; and many aunts and uncles.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 223 N. Meridian St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home, with Pastor Matthew Skiles officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.
