Joseph L. Wall

Joe Wall, 56, passed away Nov. 15, 2013, at his home. Joseph Lewis Wall was born on Feb. 4, 1957, a son of the now late Robert Lewis and Maxine (Gosnell) Wall. Joe was born and reared in Lebanon, graduating from Lebanon High School in 1976. Joe continued his education in Quincy, Ill., graduating from Gem City College. During his career Joe worked in Monroe, Mich., Indianapolis, Brownsburg and Lebanon. He owned and operated Wall Jewelry for 13 years. Joe will be forever missed by his brother and sisters: Greg (Nancy) Wall, Claudia (Jeff) Trefz, Barbara (Mark) Tankersley; and special cousin Karen (David) Richards and Uncle Dick Wall. He touched many lives, especially close to him were his nephews and nieces: Matt (Kelly) Wall, Nathan (Tasha) Wall, Elizabeth (Mike) Altemeier, Karen (Paul) Carr, John Trefz and Amelia Trefz; and other cousins Peggy, Portia, Donna Jane, Ginny, Tim, Linda, Vic, Jill and Whitney. His kindness will be remembered by his friends Bill W. and Dr. Bob and his friends at St. Luke’s UMC Garden Ministry where he was an active attendee and participated on the Hospitality Committee. Family and friends will gather Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, for visitation from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, visitation from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. with Dr. Linda McCoy officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Joe will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Memorial contributions may be made to Progress House, 201 Shelby St., Indianapolis, IN 46202; and the Indiana Sheriff’s Association, c/o Boone County Sheriff’s Office, 147 E.
