Larry J. Herron

Mr. Larry Joe Herron, 58, of Danville, Ill., passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at his residence.

Larry was born Nov. 20, 1955, in Martinsville, a son of the now late Leslie and Hazel (Campbell) Herron.

He married Laura Wall in Boone County. After 30 years of marriage, Mrs. Herron passed away on March 1, 2008.

For many years, Larry drove a freight truck and was a member of UAW #2419 in Danville.

Survivors include two children, Sean (Jamie) Herron and Dezere (Jack) Eggers; four brothers; seven sisters; eight grandchildren, Jarek, Aislann, Emmalee, Baylee, Lezlee, Jack IV, Sadie and Zackery; and fiancée, Teresa Evans.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; an infant daughter, Leslie Herron; and five siblings.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday at Myers Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery in Terre Haute.
