Laurie Ann Turner

Laurie Ann Turner, age 50, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

She was born in Noblesville, on Jan. 3, 1963, the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Nancy J. (Waggoner) Cochran.

A long-time resident of Lebanon, Laurie graduated from Lebanon High School in 1981.

On Sept. 26, 1981, she was married to Michael Turner in Whitestown. They later divorced.

For the past 13 years, Laurie worked as a Utility Technician for Frito-Lay in Frankfort. Prior to that, she had worked many years for Indiana Insurance.

Laurie was a dedicated mother and grandmother; she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson. She also enjoyed cooking and baking.

 Survivors: Fiancé Joshua M. Howe and his daughters, Chelsie M. And Marisa K., Lebanon; two children, Jared M. Turner and wife, Becky, Whitestown, and Sarah M. Turner, Lebanon; two sisters, Melinda Cloud and husband, Bob, Camby, and Donna M. Belcher, Zionsville; one brother, Brian Cochran, Lebanon, and one grandchild, Wyatt Scott Turner.

Deceased: In addition to her parents, Laurie was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Cochran; a brother-in-law, Bill Belcher; and a niece, Stacey Stanger.

Funeral services are planned at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Visitation will be held 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the education fund for Wyatt Scott Turner.
