Helen E. Taylor, 53, of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at her home.
She was born Oct. 17, 1959, in Frankfort, the daughter of William James and Leona J. Nichols Heilman. On Sept. 19, 2000, she married William J. Taylor in Las Vegas, Nev.; he survives.
Helen graduated from Frankfort Senior High School in 1978. She was a lifelong Frankfort resident and attended Trinity United Methodist Church. She worked for Dr. Tisiani for 12 years.
She most recently worked at Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center, Inc., for nine years. Helen loved fishing and spending time with family.
In addition to her husband and father, Helen is survived by four children, Michael A. (Amy) Davey of Noblesville, Nathan H. Taylor of Noblesville, Patricia J. (Cale) Mays Norwalk, Ohio, and Shea N. (Cory) Copenhaver of Noblesville; one sister, Cathy A. (George) Gorman of Frankfort; three grandchildren, Charlotte T. Davey, and twins, Cash W. and Grant H. Copenhaver; and several nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at Genda Funeral Home, 608 N. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at the funeral home, with Pastor Ed Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.
