---- — Mr. Larry Jo “Doc” Reynolds, 71, of Whitestown, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at Witham Health Services in Anson.

Doc was born July 5, 1942, in Whitestown, the son of the now late Earl Francis and Irene C. (Fearrin) Reynolds. Raised and educated in Whitestown, he graduated from Whitestown High School in 1960.

On Dec. 29, 1961, he was married to Linda Kay Riddle in Whitestown. Mrs. Reynolds survives.

Doc and his father owned and operated Reynolds Mobile Service Station on Main Street in Whitestown for many years. In 1981, he went to work for Pepsi in Indianapolis, working on the production line, and retired in 2004.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed his family and their activities, as well as puzzles and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Linda K. Reynolds of Whitestown; one daughter, Suzi S. (Chris) Vertesch of Carmel; one son; sister, Nancy L. Vicars of Crawfordsville; and three grandchildren, Lauren Vertesch, Noah Vertesch and Austin Vertesch.

Visitation is 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Myers Chapel of Memories, with Pastor Gregory Albert officiating. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
