Charlotte Louise Standeford, 47, of Crawfordsville, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at the Putnam County Hospital in Greenfield.
She was born Oct. 27, 1966, in Atlanta, Ga., to Albert Lemuel Elrod Jr., and Nancy Lee Elrod Spaeth. Her father is now deceased.
She was divorced.
She earned her GED in Houston, Texas, and went on to attend college in Elizabethtown, Ky., for two years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Her hobbies included karaoke, sewing and reading, and she enjoyed her children.
Survivors include her children, Crystal (Justin) Leflar of Lebanon, James (Haley) Copeland, Sean M. Stahley, Michael Standeford, James P. Standeford, Tayla Standeford and Natasha Rose Standeford, all of Crawsfordsville; granddaughter, Avacyn Brooke Copeland; two brothers, Albert Lemuel Elrod of Caldwell, Texas, and Aubrey G. Elrod of Spring, Texas; and six sisters, Ginger Lee Derrickson of Lebanon, Delores Ann Rutland of Irving, Texas, Roberta Kay Elrod of Spring, Texas, Sandra Lynn Wynn of Caldwell, Texas, Marijo Helen Sheehan of St. Paul, Minn., and Sylvianne McIntyre of Lebanon.
Calling will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 223 N. Meridian St., Lebanon. The service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Lewis Wynn officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens.
