Wayne A. Eppley

Wayne A. Eppley, 60, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at his home.

He was born Sept. 30, 1953, in South Bend, to Paul Howard and Ruth Clark (Schomberg) Eppley. He married Susan K. Miller on Aug. 1, 2013; she survives. Wayne was a 1972 graduate of Huntington High School and attended Indiana Business School. He was a member of Frankfort First Christian Church, where he sang in the choir and served as a deacon. Wayne enjoyed woodworking, Relay for Life in Clinton County, and family time.

Survivors include wife, Susan K. Eppley of Lebanon; sons, Anthony W. (Jeanna L.) Eppley of Seymour, and Christopher D. (Lockey A.) Eppley of New Ross; stepson, Michael (Angela) Snyder of Lebanon; sister, Jean Marie (Jim) Duffield of Flat Rock, Ill.; brother, Lee Edward (Marilyn) Eppley of Lafayette; grandchild, Lilah Ann Eppley; and stepgrandchildren, Peyton and Samantha Snyder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ruth Eppley.

Friends may call upon the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, and 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Frankfort First Christian Church, 58 S. Columbia St., in Frankfort. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with Pastor Pam Ditson-McCall officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Relay for Life in Clinton County or Frankfort First Christian Church.
