Patricia Ann “Patty” Hendrix

Mrs. Patricia Ann “Patty” Hendrix, 78, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

Patty was born Aug. 19, 1934, in Lebanon, to parents Maurice and Margaret McKinney.

She married James D. Hendrix on Oct. 24, 1954, and he preceded her in death in November of 1991.

A lifelong Lebanon resident, Patty was a cook at English Nursing Home and Pixie Playhouse, both in Lebanon. She was a devoted member of the Lebanon First Baptist Church.

Patty was an avid Lebanon Tigers Basketball fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, Haley and Trey.

She is survived by son Albert M. (Judi) Hendrix of Jamestown; two grandchildren, Haley Hendrix of Lebanon, and Trey Hendrix of Jamestown; three stepgrandchildren, Kassi (Jeremy) Rodibaugh of Zionsville, and Trevin Poole and Paige Poole of Jamestown; and two nephews, Mack Artman of Lebanon, and Mark Artman of Danville.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Artman; and a brother, James McKinney.

Visitation is 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Lebanon First Baptist Church, 207 E. Washington St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Mounts Runn Cemetery in Zionsville.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lebanon First Baptist Church, 207 E. Washington St., Lebanon, IN 46052.

Goodwin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
