Beryl C. Nease Jr.


— Mr. Beryl C. Nease Jr., 57, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at his residence.

Beryl was born in Winnsboro, S.C., on Nov. 18, 1955, the son of Merle O. (Williams) Nease and the late Beryl C. Nease Sr. Reared and educated in Winnsboro, Beryl graduated from Winnsboro High School. He moved to Indiana in 1985.

Beryl was a Union Glazier for many years. He received his biotechnician diploma from Med-Tech, and in 2009 he moved from Lebanon to Indianapolis, where he worked as a lab technician for Bio-Chemical.

He was dedicated to his family, and loved spending time with all of them. He enjoyed reading, hunting and fishing.

Beryl attended Assembly of God Church in Frankfort.

Survivors include his mother, Merle O. Nease of Indianapolis; three children, Nicole Giammetta of Columbia, S.C., James Nease of Indianapolis, and Brianna (Andrew) Mathews of Frankfort; four grandchildren; one brother, Edward Nease of Texas; half brother, Michael Clements of Thorntown; two sisters, Debbie Nease of Indianapolis and Grace Hoskins of Canton, N.C.; and half sister, Debbie (Lonnie ) Wells of Lebanon.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. today, Feb. 15, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. No funeral services are planned. Interment will take place in Winnsboro, S.C.
