Sara Beth McDill Duvall, 29, of Lebanon, formerly of Liberty, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012.
Sara was born on March 24, 1983, in Oxford, Ohio, to David and Betty Martin McDill. She graduated from Union County High School in 2001. She was a 2005 graduate of Purdue University, where she received her degree in horticulture and landscape design.
She had been employed in the landscaping business in Zionsville, and for the past four years had worked as the office manager at Pettijohn Gravel Conveyors in Zionsville.
Sara enjoyed fishing, and loved to watch Colts football and attend the games. Since the age of 9, she enjoyed cross-stitching. She also took pleasure in working puzzles and attending yard sales.
She is survived by her husband, David Duvall; her son, Joshua David Duvall; her parents, of Liberty; two sisters, Patty McDill (Troy) Craig of Bedford, Ky., and Lisa McDill (Jason) Rudnick of Liberty; two nephews, David and Samuel Rudnick; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sara was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Howard and Mary Martin; and her paternal grandparents, Ellis and Genevieve McDill.
Friends may visit from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Baker Chapel, 4 County Line St., College Corner, Ohio, where memorial contributions may be made to her son’s college fund or to the West College Corner Volunteer Fire Department. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ron Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in College Corner Cemetery.
