Mrs. Mary Louise Rolston, 87, of Lebanon, died Sept. 10, 2013, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon.
Mrs. Rolston was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Goshen, to Albert and Edna (Aust) Hawk. Both parents are deceased. She was married to Edward Rolston in 1945. He died in 1976.
Mary lived in Goshen until moving to Florida in 1971 with her husband; after his death she returned to Goshen in 1977. She worked many years at Johnson Controls, retiring in 1992. In 1998 Mary moved to Boone County to be near her son and family. Mary loved her family, enjoyed making crafts and sewing and loved playing Bingo. She will be greatly missed.
In Goshen, Mary was a member of the Moose, VFW Auxiliary and Plymouth United Church of Christ; she was also a member of the Red Hats in Thorntown and attended Dover Christian Church.
Survivors include her sons, Ronald (Sharon) Rolston of Jamestown and Donald (Karyn) Rolston of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; grandchildren: Brian (Allyson) Rolston, Jeffrey (Ann) Rolston, Stacey (Ryan) Conyer and Scott (Julie) Rolston; great-grandchildren: Evan, Isabella, Thane and Elise Rolston and Rachel and Emily Conyer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings: Elmer, Albert and Vivian.
Following cremation, Mary will be laid to rest in a private graveside memorial service with her husband in Violet Cemetery, Goshen. Strawmyer and Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.strawmyerdrury.com.
