Tomas Bernal

Mr. Tomas Bernal, 70, of Lebanon, died Sept. 12, 2013, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. Mr. Bernal was born May 31, 1943, in Michohacan, Mexico, a son of the late Rafael and Esperanza (Garcia) Bernal. He was married to Maria Luisa (Torres). She survives. Tomas was a baker for many years when he resided in Michohacan, Mexico. He retired in 2009 from CNH in Lebanon after 13 years of employment. Tomas is survived by his wife, Maria; children: Tomas Bernal Jr., Monica Bernal, Juan R. Bernal, Saul Bernal, Angel V. Bernal and Marcela Bernal, grandchildren: Alexis Maria Lynn Bernal, Christian Bernal, Miguel A. Bernal, Pheonix Bernal, Julio C. Maldonado, Saul Maldonado, Maria de Lourdes Maldonado, Monica Andrea Maldonado, Thomas A. Bernal Mora, Mercedes K. Bernal, Natalia B. Gregorio, Regina Gregorio and Luis M. Gregorio. Family and friends will gather from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. today, Sept. 17, in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Strawmyer and Drury Mortuary has been entrusted with cremation arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.strawmyerdrury.com.
