Jerry L. Parker

Lebanon — Jerry L. Parker, 62, a lifelong resident of Zionsville, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012.

He was born to Leroy Parker (deceased) and Ilene Laura (Brown) Parker on Nov. 13, 1950.

Survivors include his mother, Ilene Parker; his wife of 39 years, Rena (Garrell) Parker; two sons, Steven (Penny) Parker and Jason (Katie) Parker; four grandchildren, Austin, Chase, Audrey and Susan Parker; sister, Bonnie Trosky; nephew and niece, Jeff Trosky and Kathy (Trosky) Kerr; Jeff’s son, Joshua Trosky; and Kathy’s daughter and son, Cassandra Howard and Jacob Kyler.

Jerry was a member of the Zionsville American Legion Post No. 79 for 43 years, and the Boone County 40 & 8 since 1983.

Memorial services and burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Salem United Methodist Church, 6701 S. 800 E, Zionsville. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the Zionsville Legion Post No. 79.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A.R.N. Cremation Services.
