Mrs. Annabelle McClaine, 70, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Mrs. McClaine was born Sept. 2, 1942, in Lebanon, to Ralph and Ruby (Neese) Ranney, both now deceased.
She was married to James D. McClaine; he is deceased.
She worked for the Knotty Pine and then Commercial Filters in Lebanon for a while, and then was a homemaker who cared for her family. Her main interest was her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include three brothers, Robert C. Ranney and Charles A. Ranney, both of Lebanon, and Clyde F. Ranney of Noblesville; three sisters, Winnie Powell of Thorntown, Myrtle Roberson of Campbellsville, Ky., and Charline Fisher of Florida; daughter, Penny (Bob) Stout of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Heather (companion Eric Smith) Wahls, Bobby (companion Brittany Irwin) Stout, Jeremy (companion Brian Taylor) McClaine, Jeff (companion A.J. Mohringer) Stout and Alicia (Clint) Bogan; and seven great-grandchildren, Nathern Smith, Haley Smith, Brayton McClaine, Colten Bogan, Damian Stout, Jace Bogan and Gage Smith.
She was preceded in death by one son, James McClaine Jr.; and Ronnie, Harold and Carolyn Ranney.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 223 N. Meridian, St., Lebanon. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon.
