alcoholics in recovery — AA big book study — Noon and open discussion meeting at 10 p.m. at the New Life Recovery Home for Men, 224 S. Lebanon St., Lebanon.

BINGO — 6 p.m. by the Lebanon Senior Citizens Club at the Senior Center, 707 S. Lebanon St., Lebanon. For ages 55 and older.

LEBANON ROTARY CLUB — Weekly meeting at noon at Ulen Country Club.

MEDICARE ASSISTANCE — Medicare comparison workshop from noon to 4 p.m. at Boone County Senior Services, 515 Crown Pointe Dr. Experts from the Central Indiana Council on Aging and State Health Insurance Assistance Program counselors will be able to meet one-on-one to answer questions. Contact BCSSI to schedule an appointment.

SOUP SUPPER — At the Lizton Christian Church, 202 N. Church St., Lizton, from 5 p.m. until they run out of soup. Varieties offered will include oyster stew, broccoli and cheese, chicken and noodles, beef stew, ham and beans, chili, chicken and dumplings, taco, veggie beef and potato. There will also be cornbread, crackers, relish dishes and homemade desserts. There will be a free-will offering basket. All are welcome.

LIBRARY CLOSED — The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library, 250 N. 5th St., Zionsville, is closed for staff training. Regular hours resume tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.
